Refund policy

RETURNS

Because every Leejay Rose candle is handmade in small batches, we accept return requests within 14 days of delivery. To qualify, the candle must be unused, unlit, unaltered, and returned in its original packaging with proof of purchase. Burned or used candles cannot be returned because of fragrance preference.

To request a return, email leejayjewelry@gmail.com before sending anything back. Approved returns must be mailed to: PO Box 145, Palenville, NY 12463. Items sent without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the order arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping method because Leejay Rose cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT ORDERS

Inspect your order when it arrives. Contact leejayjewelry@gmail.com within 72 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the candle and packaging. Once verified, we will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost. Please keep the product and packaging until your claim is resolved.

HANDMADE VARIATIONS

Small differences in wax color, finish, botanical placement, or fragrance appearance are natural characteristics of handmade products and are not considered defects. These variations do not affect the candle’s quality or performance.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

We cannot accept returns of burned or used candles, personalized or custom-made products, gift cards, final-sale items, or products returned outside the 14-day window. Please contact us if you have questions about a specific item.

EXCHANGES

We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest option is to return an eligible item and place a new order after the return is approved.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation requests must be submitted within 24 hours of purchase. Because our candles are prepared in small batches, we cannot guarantee cancellation after an order enters production or fulfillment.

EUROPEAN UNION 14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD

If an order is shipped into the European Union, you may have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days without providing a reason, subject to applicable law. The item must be unused, unlit, in its original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

REFUNDS

We will notify you after receiving and inspecting your return. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card provider may require additional processing time. If more than 15 business days have passed since approval, contact leejayjewelry@gmail.com.
